Hey Adam,
When I bought my truck it came with "Air Lift" air bags in the front
coils. I think you can get them through J.C. Whitney. They work well if you
have a heavy front-end, for example, if you have: a plow, winch, big engine,
etc... But be ready for a rough ride if you fill them too much. You'll have
to experiment with air pressures to get it just right.

Good luck...

Adam, why air bags vs. new springs?
I'd guess the bags are cheaper.

I have a friend that has front air bags on his 94 F250 4x4.
Don't think they are inside the coils though.
He airs them up to make his truck level, when he has a
camper on it.

Could be a space problem, as the broncoII coils are somewhat narrow.
Airlift, firestone, riderite all make smaller 1500lbs - 3000lbs airbags that
could be made to work in your application. All have websites, but I don't know
the dimensions of the air bags.

The 5000lbs air bags, are clearly too wide to fit inside a Bronco II coil, but
the

smaller bags might do.

Depending on space clearance, you'd have to be careful about finding the
right balance on articulation, and airing down the bags, and not damaging the
bags (from pinching on the coils), or something like that.

I have new springs in the front already. They are called progressive rate springs
> from James Duff. They are about 10 months old, and provide approximately 3" of
lift. I have dual
shocks on either side of each spring, and a stainless steel
brake hose from the frame to the caliper.

What I am looking for in the end is a front end that can take a dip pretty good. I
have replaced the ball joints and tie rod ends, as well as body mounts, spring
bushings, anti-sway bar bushings, etc. The anti-sway bar is still on the truck.

I have a warn winch and a pretty heavy bumper on the front there, so the
suspension mods need to compensate for the weight offset.

They ....
