I think mine is the closed-knuckle axle. I am pretty sure the chassis and suspension is all original. The only changes that I saw when I bought the truck was the gas tank was moved and a step side bed was put on. So, are there any distinct markings that would tell me it is a Dana 44? Got the linkages fabbed up, painted and installed. Took about 5 hours total from start to finish. It should be feasable, as idler assembly between front |
