I have a '00 F350 CC 4x4. In the past couple months I've noticed a big increase in the suspension noise. I have no doubt that the colder weather has a role in this. Going over any uneven surface, or even just driving on a gravel road the entire truck seems to creak and groan. Without knowing exactly how the body is attached to the frame, I would say that it sounds like bushings at those anchor points are the culprit. Is there a TSB for this? I looked but did not find one. This isn't the popping sounds under the cab which one TSB describes, but an overall suspension/frame noise. Is there something I can lubricate myself, or that teh dealer can do when it's in for it's next checkup? Thanks for any input. Kirk ------------------------------ From: "Liz Marr" Date: Wed, 17 Jan 2001 10:09:22 -0800 Subject: Clutch problems revisited Thanks for all the ideas with my clutch that wouldn't disengage and allow me to shift (and eventually wouldn't allow me to start the truck) I have yet to replace the master clutch cylinder, but I have pushed it off for a while. Here is what I found when I got under there. There is a small bushing that holds the pedal link to the clutch master cylinder - stupid little plast thing. Well, it was beyond shot - how it was working at all is amazing - and the end of the link has been damaged some (the "clunk" sound I was hearing) Unfortunately I tore it appart on a Saturday and discovered that it was a dealer part :( So on Monday I went an paid my $6 for the plastic and put it in place. It's almost like driving another truck, but I think I still might end up replacing that cyliner as when I shift I can definately feel it going between gears and it needs a firm pressure. I hope that I didn't damage .... To access the rest of this feature you must be a logged in Registered User Of Ford Truck Enthusiasts
