2004 FORD F-150 HEADS TO DEALER SHOWROOMS

  • The 2004 Ford F-150, the newest model in the best-selling vehicle lineup in America, is leaving Norfolk (Va.) Assembly Plant and heading to dealerships.
  • Loyal customer purchased new 2004 F-150 within one hour of dealer receipt.
  • More than 66,000 dealer orders have been placed for the new F-150.
  • 2004 F-150 models will begin to arrive in dealerships during the next few weeks and can be sold upon receipt.
  • Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) for the entire 2004 F-150 lineup will range from $19,125 to $35,570, plus destination and delivery charges of $795.

DEARBORN, Mich., July 29, 2003 – The 2004 Ford F-150, the newest model in the best-selling vehicle lineup in America, is leaving Ford’s Norfolk (Va.) Assembly Plant and heading to dealerships.

Loyal customer, Ronnie Rountree of Suffolk, took possession of his new F-150 STX yesterday, within one hour of its arrival at Beach Ford in Virginia Beach, Va.

More than 66,000 dealer orders have been placed for the all-new 2004 F-150, which provides numerous class-exclusive features while delivering best-in-class trailer towing capability, payload capacity, low-end torque, cargo box volume, interior volume and interior quietness. The vehicles will hit dealer showrooms during the next few weeks and can be sold upon receipt. “We are operating from a position of strength with the F-150. For the past five years, we have sold more than 800,000 F-Series pickups a year,” said Steve Lyons, Ford Division president. “The new F-150 will help us maintain and grow our leadership position and set us apart from the competition.”
